Responsible for training CHEWs, JCHEWs, and other community-based health workers.
Focus areas include primary healthcare, maternal & child health, disease prevention, and health promotion.

  • Community Diagnosis

  • ICT in Health Care

Year 3 (CHEW Only)

  • Clinical Practicum

  • Community Health Research Project

  • Health Systems Management

  • Supervised Industrial Training


Admission Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 credits in WAEC/NECO/GCE including:
    ✓ English Language
    ✓ Mathematics
    ✓ Biology
    ✓ Chemistry
    ✓ Physics (optional for JCHEW)

  • Must be 16 years and above

  • Pass the school’s entrance exam & oral interview
